Throwback Edition: Patriots vs. Broncos

I’m still bitter that my New England Patriots lost in Week 5 to the Denver Broncos 17-20 in OT. This sudden death overtime rule definitely needs to change, however I’ll save that for another day.

The most interesting thing about this matchup was the throwback uniforms, commemorating the first AFL game ever played 50 years ago between the Boston Patriots and Denver Broncos. The Patriots had their “white on white” uniforms while the Bronco’s were sportin’ their yellow and brown vertical striped socks. Even Belichick was looking stylish with his throwback knit cap.
